PC-Ace Pro32 Upgrade Instructions

NOTE: THIS ELECTRONIC CLAIM SUBMISSION SOFTWARE INFORMATION IS FOR PC-ACE PRO32 DISTRIBUTED ONLY BY WPS HEALTH INSURANCE. DO NOT PERFORM THE UPGRADE IF YOU ARE USING PC-ACE FROM AN INSURANCE CARRIER OTHER THAN WPS. IF YOU HAVE AN OLDER PC-ACE VERSION AND THE PC-ACE PRO32 WAS DISTRIBUTED BY WPS YOU CAN PROCEED WITH THE UPGRADE TO VERSION 1.94 OF THE SOFTWARE.

Please complete the following steps to initiate and secure your PC-Ace Pro32 software upgrade as soon as possible:

Step 1

• Download the PC-Ace Pro32 Upgrade to Version 1.94
  Note: You must have PC-Ace already installed to complete this upgrade.

Step 2
The ‘File Download’ box will appear

a) Select ‘Open’ if you wish to perform the upgrade now, while on-line.

b) Select ‘Save’ if you wish to save the file, pcaceup.exe, to your hard (C:) drive and run the upgrade at a later time. When you are ready to perform the upgrade, locate the file pcaceup.exe in your hard drive and double click on the file to execute the upgrade program.

Step 3
A pop-up box will appear that acknowledges the PC-Ace Pro32 Claims Processing System Wise Installation Wizard has been initialized.

Step 4
You will be asked to enter a password to continue. Enter wpsedi1 in the password field.

Step 5
You will see a ‘Backup Reminder’ box, if you have not yet done a backup click ‘yes’ to start a backup of your PC-Ace databases.

Step 6
Review the ‘Welcome’ information and follow the suggested actions. When you are ready to continue, click the ‘Next’ button.

Step 7
Click the ‘Next’ button to continue with the upgrade.

Step 8
Click the ‘Next’ button to continue with the upgrade.

Step 9
Upon successful completion of the upgrade you will see the ‘Update Complete’ pop-up box. Click ‘Finish.’

Step 10
The last notice is a ‘Backup Reminder’, be sure to run another backup
after you have completed this upgrade. Click ‘Ok’ to exit.

Click on your applicable User Guide to view it in PDF format. The User Guide(s) can be printed for your future reference:

• PC-Ace Pro 32 Institutional User Guide
• PC-Ace Pro 32 Medicare MSP User Guide

We strongly encourage you to initiate your upgrade to Version 1.94of PC-Ace Pro32 as soon as possible. Support for your current version will be phased out shortly. Also, be sure to download the new PC-Ace Pro32 Users Guide with updated information regarding Version 1.94.
