WPS continually strives to address inquiries submitted electronically through our "Contact Us" Website as quickly as possible. Per the Internet Only Manual (IOM), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) allows contractors up to 45 business days to respond to inquiries received via postal or electronic mail. Although our staff responds to the majority of inquiries sooner than CMS requires, questions that are more complex in nature or those that address multiple issues may take up to 45 days to receive responses. Thank you for your patience in allowing the full 45 business days before resubmitting a question.
Please remember, if your question regards a specific claim, do not include any individually identifiable health information (i.e. Health Insurance Claim (HIC) numbers). You may include an internal Claim Number (ICN), however. See our Privacy Policy on this site for further explanation
