Missouri Part A Medicare Has a Daily Payment Cycle
WPS Medicare would like to report that the Medicare payment cycle for Missouri J5 Part A providers will run daily.
WPS Medicare has received questions about the payment cycle for Part A claims. During the course of planning and preparing for J5 implementation, WPS has learned that Part A providers in Missouri (Missouri defined as formerly serviced by Trispan) were paid on a weekly payment cycle that ran every Wednesday.
The WPS Medicare payment cycle will run daily for all Missouri J5 Part A providers beginning on May 1, 2008. We hope this answers some questions and eases concerns regarding the claims payment schedule.
