Mass Adjustment Scheduled for KS/Western MO/NE Part B Providers Claims Processing Alert - Quantity Billing
A mass adjustment is scheduled for certain claims that include the following procedure codes, due to system changes that were made prior to the normal provider notification period. The system change occurred on August 11, 2008, at which time the affected services could no longer be "quantity billed." Changes were remanded on September 4, 2008, thus allowing providers to continue billing multiple units of service for these procedures until further notice.

The mass adjustment will include service dates January 1, 2008, through September 4, 2008, for September 11, 2008, through September 18, 2008 process dates.
