276 4010.A1 Claim Status
CR 3017 updates the health care claim status codes for use with the Health Care Claim Status Request and Response ASC X12N 276/277. The list of status codes is updated at each X12 trimester meeting (generally held in the months of February, June, and October). The following list summarizes the changes made at the last meeting that will take effect July 1, 2004:

Requests for re-adjudication must reference the newly assigned payer claim control number for this previously adjusted claim. Correct the payer claim control number and re-submit.
