NPI Required in order to Enroll in Any EDI Services
On, July 17, 2007, we sent an e-mail message regarding MM5637, notifying providers that as of October 01, 2007, CMS will require that providers supply their NPI number in order to enroll in any EDI services. Due to this CMS regulation, the following forms have been updated to accommodate the NPI number. Effective October 01, 2007, previous versions of these forms will not be accepted.
