HIGLAS Reminder for WPS Medicare Part A Legacy Providers
Tuesday, November 11, 2008, is a Federal Holiday and no payments will be issued to WPS Medicare Part A Legacy providers. Payment cycles for these providers will resume on November 12, 2008.
The Direct Data Entry (DDE) system will be available for claim entry and corrections. Electronic Media Claims (EMC) that are sent before 6:00 pm CST will be received on November 11, 2008.
WPS Medicare Part A Legacy providers will receive a remittance advice on November 11, 2008; however, the paid date shown on the remittance advice will be November 12, 2008. The payment amount on the summary page will be sent to your bank on November 12, 2008.
WPS Medicare Part A Legacy providers who have no-pay claims that meet the payment floor criteria on November 12, 2008, will receive a remittance advice for these no-pay claims on November 12, 2008.
