The DDE System is an online application that will allow direct online access to your Medicare claims. Some features of the DDE system are:

  • Claim Entry
  • Medicare Eligibility Inquiries Common Working File (CWF)
  • Error Correction
  • Claim Status
  • Claim Adjustments
  • Roster Billing (Flu/Pneumococcal Pneumonia Vaccine)

WPS Medicare offers two options for connectivity to DDE through IVANS and VisionShare. Both connections meet current CMS requirements. WPS Medicare does not recommend one option over the other.

IVANS is a dial-up connection, via a modem and phone line using the AT&T Global Network Client Software. There is an hourly charge for usage, please contact WPS for pricing information. If you are interested in the IVANS dial-up connection, please complete the DDE Access Agreement Standard and the DDE Access Agreement ID Request Form and fax to 402-351-6188. IVANS also offers a high-speed internet connection and charges a flat fee for usage. VisionShare is a connection through the user's internet and charges a flat fee for usage. If you are interested in VisionShare for your DDE connection, please contact VisionShare at 888-895-2649 or visit VisionShare's website www.visionshareinc.com link to visionshare to obtain the software and pricing information. Once a connection is established with VisionShare, please complete the DDE Access Agreement VisionShare and the DDE Access Agreement ID Request Form and fax to 402-351-6188.

DDE Access Agreement - Standard adobe portable format document
This form is used to request a new DDE connection through IVANS using the AT&T Global Network Client Software. This form is also required when there is a change of ownership, name change or change of address. When there is a change of ownership, CMS requires the new owners to obtain a new Logon ID.

DDE Access Agreement ID Request Form adobe portable format document
This form is used to list the name of the employee who will need Logon IDs to access the DDE System and is sent with the DDE Access Agreement Standard and DDE Access Agreement VisionShare.

EDI Enrollment Form adobe portable format document
This form is sent with the DDE Access Agreement Standard, DDE Access Agreement VisionShare, Third Party Access Agreement and the DDE Access Request Form when requesting to add a provider number to an existing Logon ID. This form is only required if a form has not been previously sent to WPS. Please call the DDE Systems Department at 866-734-6656, option 2 if you are not sure if an EDI Enrollment Form is on file with WPS.

DDE Access Agreement - VisionShare adobe portable format document
This form is used to request a new DDE connection through VisionShare. This form is also required when there is a change of ownership, facility name or address change.

Direct Data Entry (DDE) Access Request Form adobe portable format document
This form is used to request an additional Logon ID, add a NPI/PTAN number to an existing ID, re-establish an existing Logon ID and to terminate a Logon ID.

Third Party Access Agreement adobe portable format document
The Third Party Access Agreement will need to be completed if you are planning to use a third party biller to assist with your billing. This form needs to be signed and dated by both the third party biller and the provider.

PRODUCT REMINDER:

The AT&& Network Client Software must be accessed through modem connectivity only. Any other means of connectivity (Internet, etc.) would be in violation of Federal Medicare guidelines.
