Physicians and Other Health Professionals Value-Based Purchasing Plan Listening Session Transcript and Deadline for Comments
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is pleased to post the transcript and audio download for the December 9, 2008 Listening Session on the Issues Paper regarding development of a Plan to transition to Medicare Value-Based Purchasing for Physician and Other Health Professional Services. The Plan was mandated by the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008. The transcript and audio download, along with the agenda, PowerPoint slides, and Issues Paper from the Listening Session are posted on the CMS Website Physician Center Spotlights at: http://www.cms.hhs.gov/center/physician.asp
