Multi-Carrier System Release Information for January 2009
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires and schedules standard system quarterly updates that each Medicare contractor must load into their claim processing system. These quarterly updates take place each January, April, July, and October.
The January 2009 update will take place the weekend of January 3, 2009.
Quarterly release information is available to all providers on the CMS Website at:

The information is in a grid format with the CMS Transmittal #, subject, Issue/Publication Date, Implementation Date, Change Request #, Provider Type, Publication #, and Additional Information.
