2009 Charitable Foundation Scholarship Recipients
WPS Health Insurance is pleased to announce the scholarship recipients of the WPS Charitable Foundation for children of employees of WPS and its subsidiaries. The following ten high school seniors will receive the four-year Ray Koenig Memorial Scholarship, which is named in honor of Ray Koenig the first president of WPS. |

Clara Breitenfeldt, daughter of Laurie Breitenfeldt (TRICARE - Wausau), graduated from Mosinee High School and will be attending Concordia University. |

Alex Christensen, son of Barb Christensen (Medical Affairs - Madison), graduated from Oregon High School and will be attending the University of Wisconsin - Stout. |

Christopher Damerell, son of Cheryl Damerell (TRICARE - Wausau), graduated from Mosinee High School and will be attending the University of Wisconsin - Marathon County. |

Gabrielle DuCharme, daughter of Dave DuCharme (Information Systems - Madison), graduated from James Madison Memorial High School and will be attending the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. |

Abigail Happli, daughter of Cindy Happli (TRICARE - Wausau), graduated from Mosinee High School and will be attending Carroll University.

Jayne Subak, daughter of Yvonne Subak (Business Services - Madison), graduated from LaFollette High School and will be attending the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. |

Emily Weiss, daughter of Cathy Weiss (Member Services - Madison), graduated from Stoughton High School and will be attending Dubuque University. |

Nathan Wright, son of Craig Wright (Information Systems - Madison), graduated from Verona Area High School and will be attending the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. |
In addition to the children of employees, WPS has awarded Ray Koenig Charitable Foundation Scholarships to one student from each of the following local high schools: La Follette, Madison East, and Monona Grove. |
| Hannah Conley graduated from Madison East High School with a 3.92 GPA. Hannah plans to attend the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and wants to major in biology and some day work in wildlife biology/conservation. |
| Bobbi Soukup graduated from Madison La Follette High School also with a 3.92 GPA. She is attending the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities or the University of Colorado - Boulder. |
| Kylie Bollfrass graduated from Monona Grove High School. She graduated with a 3.81 GPA and will attend Carroll University this fall. |
