WPS Health Insurance Announces
2011 Charitable Foundation Scholarship Recipients
WPS Health Insurance is pleased to announce the 2011 scholarship recipients of the WPS Charitable Foundation for children of employees of WPS and its subsidiaries. The following nine high school seniors will receive the four-year Ray Koenig Memorial Scholarship, which is named in honor of Ray Koenig, the first president of WPS.

Meredith Bauer, daughter of Bob Bauer (IT Security–Madison), graduated from Poynette High School and will be attending University of Minnesota–Twin Cities or University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. |

Wynonna Lynn Campbell, daughter of Peggy Polodna (Medicare–Madison) and stepdaughter of Tim Polodna (Information Systems–Madison), graduated from Platteville High School and will be attending University of Wisconsin–Stout. |

Yiwei Chen, daughter of Ying Wu (Medicare-Omaha), graduated from Westside High School and will be attending Saint Louis University. |

Jeanette Decker, daughter of Fred Decker (Information Systems–Madison), graduated from McFarland High School and will be attending University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. |

Samantha Franco, daughter of Sandra Franco (Employee Services–Madison), graduated from Madison La Follette High School and will be attending Winona State University. |

Megan Gaus, daughter of Amy Miller (Commercial Operations–Madison), graduated from Lake Mills High School and will be attending University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. |

Ross Harmon, son of Randy Harmon (Medicare–Madison), graduated from Sun Prairie High School and will be attending University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. |

Rachel Robianes, daughter of Nemesio Robianes, Jr. (Medicare–Lombard), graduated from Oswego East High School (Oswego, IL) and will be attending the University of Iowa. |
In addition to the children of employees, WPS has awarded Ray Koenig Charitable Foundation Scholarships to one student from each of the following local high schools: La Follette, Madison East, and Monona Grove. |
| Jillian Plane graduated from Madison East High School and plans to attend the Macalester College (St Paul, MN) where she wants to major in education. Jillian has been involved in Jazz band and the East Side Players. She does community service at Madison Creative Arts. |
| Kyle Christensen graduated from Madison La Follette High School and plans to attend University of Wisconsin–Whitewater in the fall. Kyle has been active in football, math team, and the National Honor Society. He plans to major in math. |
| Evan Lange graduated from Monona Grove High School and plans to attend University of Wisconsin–Madison where he anticipates majoring in molecular biology. Evan is a member of the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra and Sounds of Sun Prairie Marching band. He is active in the high school’s pit orchestra, show choir band, and Science Olympiad. |
