New option locks in rates until December 2014
December 05, 2012
WPS Health Insurance, the leading not-for-profit provider of health insurance in Wisconsin and the state's top provider of affordable group and individual health insurance, offers relief from the uncertainty of health care reform legislation with a new extended rate guarantee option. The option helps Wisconsin residents and their families protect themselves from unexpected rate increases that may result from new coverage mandates, taxes, and health insurance exchanges.
The new extended rate guarantee option allows qualified WPS members to lock in their health insurance premiums until December 2014. This option is available right now on WPS individual and family plans, from traditional PPO plans to health savings account (HSA)-qualified plans with effective dates of Jan. 1, 2013 or later.
The new extended rate guarantee option can help members avoid the uncertainty associated with the new rules and the implementation of the law. For more information, see the Get a Quote page on the WPS website.
