July 25 event in Green Bay is part of the festivities for 2014 training camp
MADISON, Wis.-June 4, 2014
The Green Bay Packers and WPS Health Insurance are proud to present the second annual WPS 1K Kids Run on July 25 to help kick off the 2014 football training camp in Green Bay. WPS is a “Proud Partner of the Green Bay Packers,” and one of its subsidiaries, Arise Health Plan, is based in Green Bay.
Children ages 10 and under will run a lap inside historic Lambeau Field and finish on a replica turf in the parking lot. The event starts at 6 p.m. Friday, July 25, with packet pick-up from 3 to 5:30 p.m. in the atrium.
The evening concludes with Packers Movie Night inside the stadium at 7 p.m. A family-friendly movie will be shown on the TundraVision screen. Admission is free for the movie.
Staging for the Kids Run will be outside the Oneida Nation gate in the southeast corner of the Lambeau Field parking lot. There will be four waves of runners:
The registration fee of $10 includes a Packers Kids Run T-shirt, logo bag, and participant medal.
